Danielle and Adam’s ceremony & reception was held at the Blue Water Grill in Applecross on a perfect summer’s afternoon, overlooking what could only be described as one of Perth’s most iconic city views.
Dani and her bridesmaids stayed at the Como Treasury for hair and makeup, until VIP Limousine services presented them to the outdoor garden party ceremony.
Just before 4pm guests started to arrive at the ceremony location. Dani & her bridesmaids arrived at 4:30pm and walked down the bespoke ivory white aisle runner of painted bamboo and potted white florals in rose gold vessels.
Post ceremony, the champagne flowed and cold canapés were served on the grass while the acoustic guitarist played till sundown.
The custom pendant lighting & purposefully placed chandeliers over the dining tables began to take ethereal effect as the guests were invited into the reception space to enjoy hot canapes and the spectacular open bar.
The reception was a contemporary and romantic cocktail, lounge setting with some traditional dining options for some of the more mature VIP guests.
The look and feel for the reception was classic garden party with overwhelming white (in the hundreds of Phalaenopsis orchid stems and cascading garlands) with hints of rose gold in the table top, green in the abundant foliage.
Drop down pendant lighting mixed with cut glass crystal chandeliers worked to create a timeless lighting plan and the statement bar with cabinet shelving displaying top shelf whisky adjacent to the custom white dance floor & band set the tone for a spectacular party.
To officially welcome Mr & Mrs Di Placido into the venue, Sexual Healing played as MC Marco asked everyone to raise their glasses and celebrate together, what was an extraordinary day.
Food stations included a chilled oyster bar, hot carvery, substantial bowl food and gourmet burgers.
The Summer Club band played live music till the early hours.
On departure, guests were offered beautifully wrapped bunches of Natural Art flowers as take home gifts.
