The bride walked down the aisle after flower girl, granddaughter Lily Karlson, to the sounds of Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed & Delivered.
Rhonda wore a magnificent custom designed gown by J’aton Couture for the ceremony, and a second gown in her favourite colour, pink, designed for the reception.
J’aton also created Rhonda a dramatic custom headpiece in rose gold, lily of the valley and pearls.
After saying their vows with close friend Neale Fong acting as the celebrant, the newlyweds were cheered on as they walked out to Help Me, Rhonda by The Beach Boys.
TV presenter and Collingwood Football Club president Eddie McGuire flew in from Melbourne with his wife Carla to act as MC.
“Eddie and I are best mates and have been for 20 years. We have done a lot of things together,” Browne said.
The star attraction was a post-dinner high-energy set by Boy George and a band who played hits Karma Chameleon, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, and It’s a Miracle. George had been in Australian filming the new season of The Voice in Sydney and was lured to Perth for the wedding.
It was a star-studded affair attended by the likes of Foreign Minster Julie Bishop and her partner David Panton, Malcolm and Tonya McCusker, Chris and Tia Ellison, Nigel and Denise Satterley, David Gyngell and Leila McKinnon, John and Janet Calvert-Jones and Eileen Bond. There was also a formidable footy presence.
